Trademark usage

CAIRL is a trademark of reAPPlicate Incorporated.

Usage rules

  • CAIRL is always written in all caps — never "Cairl," "cairl," or "CairL"
  • Use CAIRL as an adjective, not a noun or verb
    • Do: "CAIRL verification," "CAIRL platform," "the CAIRL service"
    • Do not: "use your Cairl," "CAIRL'd the user," "download CAIRL"
  • Do not use CAIRL in possessive form ("CAIRL's API" — use "the CAIRL API" instead)
  • Include the TM symbol (™) on first mention in any document or page

Product names

Product names follow the CAIRL/{namespace} format:

  • CAIRL/vault
  • CAIRL/mail
  • CAIRL/pay
  • CAIRL/keys
  • CAIRL/meet

Reserved terms

The word "Verified" is reserved exclusively for the CAIRL trust badge (see Badges). Do not use "CAIRL Verified" as a general descriptor outside the badge context.

The standard copyright notice is:

© 2025 reAPPlicate Incorporated. All rights reserved.

Application

  • Required on every page footer, legal page, and published document
  • The year is 2025 (year of first publication) — not dynamic
  • Use the © symbol, not "(C)" in published materials
