Badge Integration
How to display the CAIRL trust badge on your platform, including sizes, placement rules, and certification levels.
Badge Integration
The CAIRL trust badge is a contextual trust signal that tells users your platform is integrated with CAIRL identity verification. It is not a promotional logo.
Badge overview
The trust badge is a horizontal lockup containing the CAIRL compact mark, a divider, and "CAIRL VERIFIED" text inside a rounded rectangle outline.
Two colorways are available:
| Background | Badge color |
|---|---|
| Light | Trust Blue (#1E40AF) |
| Dark | White (#FFFFFF) |
Sizes
Choose the size appropriate to your placement context.
| Size | Dimensions | Use case |
|---|---|---|
| Large | 200 x 60 px | Verification entry points, dedicated trust sections |
| Medium | 160 x 48 px | Checkout flows, signup forms |
| Small | 120 x 36 px | Footer placements, compact UI |
| Icon | Below 120 px | Space-constrained contexts (compact mark only) |
Placement rules
The badge should appear where users encounter CAIRL verification, not elsewhere.
Recommended placements
- Verification entry point — directly adjacent to the button that initiates verification (Large)
- Checkout or signup — near the verification step in your flow (Medium)
- Footer — in the trust or security section of your page footer (Small)
Placement requirements
- The badge must appear within the same visual group as the verification action
- The badge must link to cairl.app
- The badge must not be separated from the verification CTA by unrelated content
Prohibited placements
- Advertising or promotional banners
- Pages with no CAIRL verification touchpoint
- Product listing pages where CAIRL is not involved
- As a floating, fixed, or decorative element
Implementation
Add the badge to your HTML using the official asset files provided through the CAIRL dashboard.
<a href="https://cairl.app" rel="noopener" aria-label="Verified by CAIRL">
<img
src="/assets/cairl-verified-badge.svg"
alt="CAIRL Verified"
width="160"
height="48"
/>
</a>What not to do
- Do not recreate the badge — use official assets only
- Do not recolor, stretch, or add backgrounds to the badge
- Do not animate the badge
- Do not translate the badge text
- Do not use the badge to imply endorsement beyond the integration relationship
- Do not use the word "Verified" in connection with CAIRL outside of this badge
Violations may result in a correction notice or, for severe cases, removal of integration access.
